It's been here for the last month, between the two kids! Sammy got it first and we never could decide for sure what it was. We thought maybe it was just really bad hives of some kind but it went on for a week or so and kept moving all down her body. Then about a week after her rash was completely gone Andrew stated with it. His has progressed and become much more typical of fifth disease. It is also lasting much longer. He's had it for over 10 days already.

Isn't it so weird?! My kids had this too at the beginning of my pregnancy so it was scary because it can actually make you miscarry or give the baby a lot of deformaties. I had to get tested to make sure I was immune to it...which I luckily was. It looks like your kids got it bad. My kids seem to get all the weirdest skin diseases...Fifth's Disease, Molluscum (which is a horrible wart virus that can take forever to get rid of), Hand, Foot and Mouth which is also HORRIBLE. DO you remember getting any of these weird viruses when you were little? I don't know if I feel more sorry for the kids or for us parents? :)
OUCH!!! That looks painful. I hope you all recuperate quickly and quit passing it back and forth!!
